1/30 Valentine treat tent

Wow 2 post in one day that's good for me! This is just a little treat bag tent that I made for Elaina's teacher. The paper is Scribble Scrabble(Got it last year) and the stamps are of course CTMH, I used Whoo Loves You and Childhood Portrait and mini sparkles. The hearts I covered with Stickles and the ribbon is from Wal-mart. I have not filled it with goodies yet, I am thinking about making chocolate peppermint popcorn to fill it. I found the recipe here www.theidearoom.blogspot.com she has an amazing blog. I even started working on my hubby's Valentine's treat I am making a heart shaped chipboard album, I got it all covered in Basic Grey's Bittersweet paper(Love it). Hopefully I will play more after the wee ones go to bed. I also got to the quilt shop today and got the most amazingly adorable baby boy material and want to get started on a blanky for the new baby. We will see how much ambition I have left at around 8:00pm tonite probably not that much.

1/30 Daydream & Happy Endings

This is just a little altered notebook and lollipop cover I made for the little girl Neliswa that we sponser through World Vision. She lives in Swaziland and will turn 6 on February 14th. However we are only able to send very small things that will fit in a 6 x 9 envelope so we are limited, we also added stickers and a letter, pictures my kids drew and pictures of all the snow we have here! There are so many children who lack even the basic nessecities it is just heartbreaking. Anyways the only thing was my husband disliked the stickease that said Make a wish upon a star, he said we are Christians we don't wish, we pray. So off came the sticker and on went a new one that I stamped using the same princess that I used on the lollipop cover but of course I did not take a picture, oh well you get the idea! I hope Neliswa enjoys her package, it is far more a blessing for us to help her than I ever could have imagined! Have a great weekend!

More lollipop covers

Well I finished Elaina's lollipop covers today and this is what I came up with. All stamps are CTMH - Childhood Portrait, Happy Endings, Bee Mine, Life's A Jungle, & Annotations. I like these ones a little better than the ones I made the other day, so hopefully her classmates will like them.

1/27 lollipop covers

Okay, I decided to make lollipop covers for Elaina to give out to her classmates for Valentines and I picked up the heart shaped lollipops today and wanted to start playing. My goal was quick and simple and these were, however I realized I have a while before Valentines and I really want to do something with a little more pizzaz, so I am going to keep playing and see what I can come up with. I will post the final covers when I finish them!

1/25 Soul Mates & Animal Cookies?

You know how sometimes the mood just strikes and you have to do something creative? Well that is exactly what happened yesterday afternoon. So I decided to make a valentines day card, all products are CTMH with the exception of the pink thread I used in my sewing machine. The stamp set is called the Soul Mates word puzzle and I also used black and White Daisy cardstock and the patterned paper is from the Animal Cookies paper pack, White Daisy ribbon, and baby Pink and Tulip inks. The Tulip heart is pop dotted.

That's Amore & Mrs. On The Go

Okay, so I checked out a very cool blog hop from the MFT design Team today and they were using a great stamp of a lady with a mixing bowl. Lightbulb- wait I have a CTMH stamp of a lady with a mixing bowl(Mrs. On The Go), so I stamped her lot's of times colored her with Copics(thanks for putting me in a Copic mood Amy H.) then I paper pieced the rest of her with CTMH'S That's Amore paper pack, I also used the Cupcake Sprinkles and Simple Stiches stamp sets. All supplies are CTMH except the Copics. Not real sure how I feel about this card but it will do!

You Rock

So I did not order CTMH'S new Rockin Topcoats and now I am kickin myself, because I just had to use the You Rock paper pack for this layout and did not really have the perfect embellishments and of course I just could not wait and do it later. Oh well, I love this picture of Owen that my neighbor took and I thought the orange hue of the wood, the grass and his clothes would look great with this paper, but now I am worried it looks to tye dyeish(is that a real word?) Well what do you all think?

Caboodle Layout

For a paper pack that I did not really like at first I seem to be using it alot! Oh it has grown on me so! Love You Forever has probably got to be one of my favorite stamp sets ever! I paper pieced the animals and used a mini pearl, Sweet leaf cordouroy brads and bitty sparkles. I also used a scalloped punch on the borders and the Storybook Cricut Cartridge to cut out Avery! I also used the Reflections book for the inspiration for the layout the pattern is Tittle Topper-Add It Up. Let me know what you think!

Happy New Year everyone! While my dear sweet hubby is installing new floor in our kitchen I decided to play with some brand new product from the CTMH spring Idea Book which goes live today! I used the Caboodle paper pack and the oh so adorable Love You Forever stamp set, as well as pearls and Sweet Leaf ribbon! Now I am off to spend time with my family and on a side note today my husband and I celebrate 15 years together as a couple! They have been the best 15 years of my life, and I am so thankful that the Lord chose us to be together before the foundation of the earth!
